Guys: I need your advice?

Sorry it's so long! but..


During my senior year I fell in like with a guy at school.





And a little about him, he is kind of a nerd. His hobbies are skateboarding and playing Halo and other video games all day. He doesn't party or do drugs, he hates alcohol. We have a lot of mutual friends..





He got my phone number from a friend the day before spring break and he texted/called me every single day for like 2 weeks.





He confessed he liked me and I told him I did also. He is kind of the ****** of the school and every girl hates him. I asked him why I was the only girl he was so nice to and he said ';because I only like u';.





After telling eachother how we feel, he starts treating me like he treats everyone else, he is rude and kind of stops talking to me.





So around May, he got really sick and stopped texting/calling and i tried calling/texting him but even then, I stopped cause I figured he is the guy so he should be the one texting/calling.





So point is, school ended and he didn't text/call for a while. I was so upset, and thought about him all the time.





About 3 weeks ago he called out of the blue and said sorry i forgot about you, but just to let you know, i'm gonna start calling/texting you everyday again! and i was so happy! but now....he has done it again. He has stopped talking to me.





WHY DOES HE DO THIS??????? Should I just give up? I really wish I knew why he talks to me, makes me think he likes me, and then disappears.





He is 18, I am 17 btw.

Leave him and don't believe any **** he says. Either way you are going to get your heart broken so stay away from him. He is sucking up to you because you are more than likely hot or pretty or beautiful so I would leave him alone.
