Guys mostly...I need advice!?

i've been answering all these questions on relationships and a couple questions just brought me to tears because they reminded me of a problem i had.


me and this guy were really close, i mean close close. he would text me good night, tell me he misses me, we would hug and i just liked him so much. it lasted for about 4 months 2 school months and then the summer. our friend who had hooked us up told me he would ask me out the start of next school year but he never did, it was a month into the year so the same friend told him that i wanted to go out with him and he told her he didn't like me anymore. just like that?? did i do something wrong? i keep telling myself im over him and i was for a while but he just keeps coming up in my life!! i told him i still wanted to be his friend and forget wat our friend said and it seems like hes still my friend, he talks to me and makes me laugh its just i dont know whats going on!! and now my friend likes him but i know he doesn't like her??!?!?! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Guys mostly...I need advice!?
