I'm 27 and for the past couple of years I believe since mid 20's I've had some small thinning on the front and very mild corner recession/thinning in my hair. However my top and back show no evidence of thinning and has a lot of hair. (according to my doctors)
I've seen some doctors who've noticed the mild thinning but still consider it to be very early to tell if I will follow some sort of pattern but they think its genetic hair loss but no signs of balding. They still consider me to have a full head of hair. For the most part some don't recommend propecia simply because it's too early for me to tell if I need it but some say you could if you want to be safe.
Some people are telling me hair loss in the front is natural with age and at 27 if I was actually balding it'd be noticeable by now. My dad started in his 50's. Would you take propecia if you were in my shoes? Is it too early? Could it just be age? Should I wait it out in my lifetime to decide?Guys...I need your advice...what do you think I should do?
Well it is possible to go bald at 27 so if you really care about your hair a lot and there are no bad side effects, then why not take the drug? I think that you are fine though because I have NEVER seen someone with balding on the side of his head but not on the top.
Supposedly you have to look at your mom's dad. Don't worry about it.
If you wear a hat all the time then cut down on it. I haven't seen any actual scientific research on this but show me a baseball player on TV that does not have a bald spot
