Okay, so we ';broke up'; 3 weeks and it wasn't even that serious of a relationship but and it was really weird because i was trying to get over her, and so i avoided her and it was like that for 2 weeks . we were talking on Thursday and she said that she wasn't over me before but now she is, but i think she does still have some feelings left for me. And i told her that i missed her and i wanted her back and she said that she couldn't say yes right now. its just that she never knows what she wants and she is so flaky, and she was upset that i didn't do anything to try to get her back before, and i told her that i wasn't okay with just being friends because i know i will deep down always have feelings for her and that i thought avoiding contact with her would help me get over her, but it didn't. so Friday i tried to talk to her casually, and well she barely made eye contact, and when i waited for her after class she bolted past me, and then she was walking fast on purpose. i called her on Saturday because i needed to know if i still have a chance with her and she said yea but not right now, followed by her telling me i need to say the right things. what should i say??..then before she had to go i told her i was sorry for acting like a jerk and ignoring/avoiding her and how that was immature of me. i mean i want her back but maybe she just wants the attention, since she said i am not acting like i like her. and today she got these highlights so you know i complimented her. so that could be it too. i really need advice.Girls, guys, anyone. i need advice. i miss her, but what does she mean by this?

Ok iam going to try to put this the easiest way i can. Sometimes my answers can be a little bit confusing. Obviously your still in love with her and you have feelings for her. You want her back... yes i get that and from what your telling me i think she wants you back too and she misses you. I think she still has feelings for you too because she is just hurt by this whole situation. I think it was good you said you were sorry for acting like a jerk but sometimes that doesnt cut it with us girls. It can take a while for us to heal after a big let down for us. I think what probably happend was that she realized that you were avoiding her and she probably felt she wasnt good enough for you(WHICH BELIEVE ME THIS REALLY HURTS) and so the best thing i can advise is to just be there by her side every step of the way. Its going to be the little things you do that she is going to remember and make her feel better. Write her little notes to find like i love u or u mean the world to me or i cant live without you or whatever you want. Give her flowers, make her breakfast AND NEVER EVER LIE TO HER OR AVOID HER AGAIN AND ALWAYS KEEP IN CONTACT WITH HER. dont lead her on(what i mean by that is be UPFRONT with her) You should be able to talk to her about all your problems and be open with eachother. Ok, honestly I think u need to move on. Attention is exactly what she's looking for and she's making you look like a spineless coward. Grow some balls man. Stop chasing her. I know you say you like her, but there are PLENTY of other girls that would appreciate your attention. This might not be the answer that you're looking for, but continuing this nonsense won't get you anywhere..It will however give her the power to make you look like a fool. How about ignoring her. If she wants you, she'll make the first move.
You need to get over her. If she wanted you back she would tell you she does. Either she is trying to be nice by leaving you hanging or she is leaving you open in case she can't find anyone better. You need to let her go. Dont push. Sounds like your pushing and being annoying. Give her some space. Tell her Im giving you some space if you want to talk call me. Thats it leave it at that. So then she knows the balls in her court. She'll either take the space she needs and will call you or she wont either way keep busy. Hang out with friends. Do stuff.
