Guys I need your advice...?

I'm a senior in high school and one of my guy friends friends asked me to homecoming. I didn't really know him at the time and I went on the date. We don't have any classes with each other but all my friends tell how he talks about me. Half of the school thinks that we are going out but we aren't I hardly ever see him and when I do he doesn't say very much . Now I am starting to think that he is cute the more that I see him. Does he like me? What should I do? Should I flirt? Have you been in this situation?Guys I need your advice...?
well, if i were you. id go with him. since he seems like a nice guy. hes probably quiet since u havent gotten to know him yet, so he dosent wanna screw up around you. but if you do go to homecoming with him, that will obviously tell him that u want to get to know him more and then maybe he will be able to open up more and say more around you. i think that yes, flirting could help a lot since he is so nervous around you. and yes, id say he likes u if hes always talking about you and asked u to homecoming. so id go with him..
