ive been talking to this guy and he wants to get coffee. yesterday he asked me when i was free and since i work so much i told him tuesday or wednesday. he said hmm well maybe we could meet up tomorrow (tomorrow being today) i said yeah tomorrow is good just let me know or whatever. and he said k sounds good! ill text you.
He usually works till 8 and doesnt usually text me till then but i havent heard from him all day. should i text him and ask him whats going on for tonight? or sweat it out till he texts? i just dont want to be rushing to get ready.

Wait. If he doesnt txt by 830 then you can txt him. Just say hi though and see what he says. You dont want to ';flood'; him with txts just yet. He is more than likely waiting until he is done with work. Im sure you will hear from him before you go insane lol
Since it sounds like you want to go get coffee, the best thing to do would be to wait until around 8:15 then text and ask him if it's still on for tonight. If he says no, ask if Wednesday is OK.
if he is unable to get to his phone he may not text you.
If he texts you after 8 , its up to you you can go
i would just ask 'are we still on for tonight?' nothing's wrong with that.
